Cubby Crate Design

This is a design that I have printed and tested thoroughly, but no pictures available, sorry.

Prepare for at least a couple kg's of filament for this one. 
Measure carefully…and this design should not be “scaled” as the fasteners would not fit after printing.

This design is a copy of a different box I made with a different front face with some company logos on it, so I designed a version for my husky Dog Natsu.  The dog logo and the space below are a placeholder for your pet, or toy storage, whatever.  

This is a “heavy-duty” design with thick walls and screw-together joint strength. 

An inspiration of the design for where to split parts (see the side panels) came from necessity, as a box this large could not printed on a MK3S all at once.  There was also the challenge of how to design a very strong box but using the least amount of printed supports as possible. The pieces must be assembled to achieve its strength.

All the .stls here are included, but please use some caution if deciding to print.  Measure the opening carefully and reach out to me if you need/want help.  Be very careful of orientation when slicing, as some features (screw counterbores) should have just a little support material.

Superglue is required but it is only used as a “final” step and not part of the assembly construction.  It holds seams together nice and tight and can be used at your discretion and your logo (in this case a Husky logo) is superglued to the FRONT part in an indentation.

Superglue may be required for the SIDE SUPPORT parts. 

The BOTTOM pieces may be loose if you want them that way.  Or, just superglue.

ANSI M4 hardware is required.  Use standard ANSI M4 nuts and M4 x 20 screws to assemble.
