Description
I really like what FLYN Industries came up with, as well as the 250 middle section from jackhsu, but I really need handles. The handles by jeoje were nice, but they are too big for the center section of a 250, and the machine is narrower than my shoulders so I could not wrap my hands around the handles anyway. So this design allows a more natural hand position when lifting, at least for me, although it does require some strength.
I printed in Polymaker ABS with 15% infill and organic supports from the build plate only.
I used 3 mm foam tape on each side of the center inserts to seal the gap.
Note that M5 x 12 socket head screws are required. Button head screws do not fit in the holes.
I found that the handle can spin the 2020 extrusions on the sides of the Trident since there is just friction holding it in place. Two brackets are needed, one in each back corner, and (4) total M3x8 screws and M3 tee-nuts keep the extrusion in place. I updated the design to also include grabbing the extrusion on the side using the same configuration as the handles since there was still a little movement with my original design. Make sure the “hook” is on the side extrusion, since the vertical extrusion is already locked from rotation. I printed it on one of the back sides with supports from build plate only, and 1 layer of raft to aid in removing the support.
I also included a version of the bracket for M5x8 screws if you have extra of those or just want a little extra security.
I used these handles for the sides, 250 middle section from jackhsu for the front and back, and the FLYN Industries remix for the corners. I also really like having KlipperScreen on my old cell phone on top, much easier to use than at the base, so I reconstructed the left corner to match what FLYN Industries did, and added mounts. I have included the stl files for those in the 3mf file, step file for the handle, and the step files for FLYN Industries left corner (you can mirror for the right corner) that I reverse engineered. I also included the FreeCAD models, although I am still learning so they are not pretty.
I also used these clips and they are great:

Update: Made a version that should work with 300 mm Trident
