Tărtăria Tablets Disc

A replica I made of a 6700 year old clay tablet from the village of Tărtăria in Romania. There is a lot of debate about what the symbols mean, but they are likely either the earliest known writing (Vinča symbols) or it's a star chart (or both.) It's never really been translated, but there's a very compelling scholarly article called PLANETARY SCIENCE EDUCATION BY FOCUSING ON SPHERICAL ASTRONOMY: THE ROLE OF THE ECLIPTIC IN THE 26000 YEARS OF PRECESSION CYCLE: COMPARISON OF RECENT AND ARCHAEOLOGICAL DATASETS by Záhonyi A.1, Ságodi I.2 and Bérczi Sz.3 that really makes a strong case for the symbols being a Sumerian-influenced star map.

Anyway, this is one of my favorite artifacts, so I thought it would be awesome to recreate it in CAD and print it in PLA. An homage to the ancestors!
