Description
Here's a collection of all of the parts that I have found for this model. Some of the parts, especially the phone holder, I found to be a little fragile, so I simply thickened it up a little.
Phone Mount: Thickened the outer part of the frame as well as the mounting fingers by 4mm. Made the mount taller so it encompasses more of the device. This means that I had to include a hole for the bottom USB port, It should work for other devices. I also added a cutout for the power button on the bottom of the mount (right side of device), this is more specific to my device, but may work for your application. Even though the phone mount states that It specifically is sized for a Samsung Galaxy A50, I found that my old LG V40 fits perfectly. YMMV
Turn Table: Simply thickened it by 5mm for a total thickness of 8mm. Adjusted and made fingers to match the Phone Mount portion. Both parts feel very sturdy now.
Table Edge Mount: Found in another Remix, I modified the mount so that I can attach it directly to any surface, not just a table edge. Specific to my set up, but useful anyway.
Arm: Also found the the safe Remix, I like how it attached, however it was a little too long for my setup, so I simply shortened the arm. Both the original Table Edge Mount and Quick Release Arm can be found here.
Overall, I love this mount and it's modifications because it allows me to mount my device outside of my Lack enclosure, utilizing the phone camera to monitor, but also allows me to control the printer through the Printoid App, allowing me to keep the enclosure closed if I want to change settings mid-print.
