Description
Mount to attach a Blink Mini cam to monitor your print. Attaches to the top hinge of the door. You will need 2 M3x6 screws to replace the screws on your top hinge. And a Blink Mini, of course.
You can print both on the same plate. I printed in both PLA and PETG, both work great. Just line the camera up right in the housing and snap it in to place. Then snap the housing into the mounting plate (I'd suggest doing this before attaching to the door). Pull the two screws on the outside of the top of the door and use the two M3x6 screws to attach the assembly to the hinge. Plug it in and you're done.
The slot on the right side of the housing is for sliding a small screwdriver in between the camera and the back to pop it loose.
This works better with overhead LED lights as it catches the original LED strip light in the left of the view. That doesn't prevent it from being a good camera, though.
03/01/24 Extended the housing out at an angle to stop reflections from the glass. Rotated mounting slots 90 degrees to improve printability.
