Description

This is a remix of the Locking Cap from peaberry.
I have redesigned it to fit onto a tetra pak. With a nice knurled handle :)

You need:

  • one M3-Nut (has to be inserted while printing the top part)
  • one M3-Screw (cap head M3x6, M3x8 should fit)
  • Adhesive (I used JB Weld)
  • the original plastic cap that came with the tetra pak
  • two nails (2mm thick) Assembly Instructions:

    1. insert the middle part in the lower part
    2. screw the lower part and the top part together
    3. make sure these two parts spin freely
    4. add adhesive into the lower part and insert the original plastic cap
    5. make sure that the top part is still moving freely (if you have used too much adhesive you have to spin it regularly while it dries)
    6. Cut the pointy ends of nails and sand down any excess ridges
    7. Insert the nails into the handle
    8. cut off the excess length of the nails
    9. use some adhesive to secure the nails in the handle
