BMPCC4K Sun Hood

Sun hood designed for the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 4K with the Smallrig 2343 Universal SSD Holder mounted on top, using one of the side ¼" threads on the Smallrig holder as the mounting point.

I designed this using a 3D Scan of the back of the camera made with the Shining3D Einstar 3D Scanner. I used a bit of AESUB Blue vanishing scanning spray to see the dark reflective surface of the display better.

The only thing you need to mount it is a ¼" screw of your choice, I used the tripod style with a D-ring handle.

With the Panasonic Leica Summilux DG 25mm F1,4 lens mounted on the BMPCC4K, this sun hood can be used on the DJI RSC2 without the risk of the hood hitting the gimbal.

I printed the sun hood in Polymaker matte black PLA. If I were to print this as a long-term solution, I would probably opt for a semi-rigid Nylon or TPU for it to last in my bag.
