Description

3 part housing for the KMTronics 4 channel USB relay board to control power to 12VDC astronomical support devices using an ASCOM driver found here:

https://www.digitalastrophotography.co.uk/observatory-project.html

Board source:

https://www.kmtronic.com/usb-relays.html?product_id=53

Used Overture PETG black and grey, .8mm nozzle, 250C nozzle temp, 90C bed.

All 4.3mm holes are for threaded inserts for 3mm and 2.5mm screws.  All 3mm screws except for the KMTronic board mounting which is the 2.5mm screws.

Terminal block and relay board has offsets/spacers printed into the top and bottom respectively.  Terminal block is this model on Amazon:  OONO 16 Amp 2x12 Position Terminal Block Distribution Module for AC DC.

I liked this board better than the NOYITO for the following reasons:

Pros:

-The board is a higher quality product, better outlay, PCB text is larger and sharp.  Cleaner layout, not as many components on PCB, i.e. no barrel connector or wire terminal for 12V input.

-TX/RX LEDs.

-Has solder pad options for NC, COM, NO terminals.

-NC/COM/NO terminals higher quality

-15A per relay.

-USB powered

-no phantom voltages at NC or COM terminals.

The larger KMT board necessitated a slight redesign and print.

I added an optional top with a window that you can observe the board's power LED and respective relay LEDs.  You need to cut some clear plastic, glue it in window's housing, then glue the housing onto the top where the cutout is located.

NOTE:  used the NOYITO project interior photo above, same wiring/placement.  The KMT is slightly bigger
