Description

Hi,

I know a very dedicated amateur cook who's cooking for us sometimes. I wanted to show my appreciation for his “art” and the idea came to me to gift him his own award.

The hand and spoon are not my designs. You have to get them via the provided links.
The pedestal otherwise is my design.

All the models are scaled down a bit in the slicer to make a good fit together and to reduce print time a bit.

my scaling values (X - Y - Z)
hand:        80,00% - 80,00% - 100%
spoon:      80,00% - 80,00% - 80%
pedestal:  62,75% - 62,75%  - 66%

I'm providing the design data for my pedestal. Included are the text plate I used and blank plates in case you want to make your own texts. The text plates are in two sizes, the left set is full size for the unscaled pedestal. The right set is fitting to my scaled pedestal as in the pictures. Also included are two cover plates, one for bottom and one for top. I had to design them when my pedestal had some ugly print errors on the surface layers. But because I didn't want to reprint everything I just glued the cover plates on it.

The hand is glued to the pedestal. The spoon is only pinched under the middle finger.
The hand is sunken into the print bed to get a flat print surface at an angle I liked.

printed on prusa MK4
- 0,4 mm nozzle
- layer heights: spoon = 0,2 // hand = 0,25 // pedestal = 0,3
- infill between 5-10%

Print time for all parts (covers included) was around 9h47min with prusa MK4 input shaper profile.

Filaments used:
Polymaker PolyTerra PLA grey for the pedestal
FormFutura EasyFil ePLA pearl gold for the hand, spoon and text
Some leftover dark grey PLA+ for text plate

Happy printing and gifting!

P.S. Next year he gets the ‘golden fork award’ and the year after that the ‘golden cleaver award’. :-)
