Description
Concepts of non-slip Snakextruder B and S.
It's using large gears from LGX/HGX (lite) extruders. Filament bends around the wheels so it has a lot of contact area. Even PLA can bend without breaking (if it's not too old). The area is so large that you're limited by the motor torque only. Tension of a spring can be the same for hard and flexible materials.
This approach uses push and pull wheels which is great for printers with single extruder motor. It does not make sense for Prusa MMU or BambuLab AMS.
Loading of filament must be done with opened extruder (no spring tension). It will make the path straight for easier loading.
