Description
In the models, the distance between the mounting holes is 30 mm and the diameter is 6 or 8 mm (check version "history" for updated information).
Cleat is optimized for 10 mm rope, but can be used with all thinner diameter ropes as well, thicker ropes may be used but “absolutely” max diameter is 12 mm.
When printing, you should use PETG (for strength, water and weather durability and for some sort of UV resistance), 100% filling and buildplate supports. STL files are by default in the "correct position" from a printing point of view (not all anymore, I will fix this at somepoint, but you should place it hole extension against the base plate/ i.e. the wall-mounted side upwards.
V2
The original stl file had an error in the location of the holes for the 145 mm and 170 mm versions. in this version the locations have been fixed. Also hole has been upscaled to 8 mm.
V3
Added new length (~150mm)
The front surface of the cleat has been changed to be uniform/the recess around the holes has been removed. Also hole has been upscaled to 8 mm.
V4
The front surface of the cleat has been changed to be uniform/the recess around the holes has been removed.
Holes have been changed back to 6mm.
If you notice an error in a file that you want corrected, send me a message and I'll correct it. If you want a certain size of cleat, send me a message and I can edit the files or give you access to my editable version, so you can edit what you want yourself.
