Parametric height steps for Ikea Langur high chair

DISCLAIMER - the photo I uploaded refers to version 1 of this design, while according to Fusion the one I posted is V54. Please see the end of this post for the details.

My daughter's legs have grown too long for the first step of this chair, but still too short to reach the second one. No more dangling feet with this adapter.

The whole thing is held secure with 4(+1) zip ties per side, and printing it with a large nozzle at 15% infill should be quite robust (I do trust my daughter to it, but still scowl at her if she jumps on the pads and you should too!).

Features include:

• Possibility to mount it both on the upper and lower step of the Langur chair.
• Two parts design so you can reprint just the step when a lower one is needed.
• Parametric step height, the default ones are 50mm, but you can change them in the F3D file.
• Captive paths for the zipties for ease of installation and added strenght.
• One extra safety ziptie path for joining the two parts and locking the step to the base.
• Prints without supports
• The steps have a parametrized chamfered cavity inside to save up filament while remaining robust.

The height of the steps can be adjusted with parametric design from 25 to 100 mm (too little and it can't render the top of the step, too high and it will hit the slanted leg when you mount it).

The print depicted in the photo is the one I printed for my daughter, and it lacked several refinements (including double ziptie to the leg, removal of sharp angles and a general reduction of the printed volumes). I did not make a full reprint because it seemed a waste since V1 is doing its job, my daughter isn't falling off, and my wife isn't complaining about the looks… BUT… I did reprint and test fit the sections which were changed, especially the coupling with the vertical leg of the chair, which now has a slanted slot and one extra ziptie, so I can't wait to see your makes as they will certainly look even better than the one I have!
