Description

2024-08-15 Updated to new version. V2 in files

  • Tried to create more surface touch points ( bed adhesion ) and filled the lower circle.
  • I have adjusted to print with a .10 layer height as I only had one layer between bottom and start of top. I need to stay as close to specs. This gives me an additional layer.
  • All V2 Parts are reprinted and tested on my MK35 and MK4
  • Added Support Corner Pieces to improve bed adhesion for the larger prints
  • Make sure the bed is clean and as sticky as possible

Printing Instructions

  • .1 Layer Height
  • 30 Degree Bridging Angle

Drop me a note if you want me to add a dimension which you need and is not included in the V2 Section. Happy to add.

Original ( Can't remember when ;-)

I was really struggling to understand gear, gear-ratios, rotational direction so I decided to start creating some gears to play with. I was initially going for the Lego route but decided it was far more cost efficient to make them myself vs buying lego kits just for some testing.

It did however send me down the rabbit hole. To help others I am also adding all the parts I am using myself here in an effort to help the community.

Please note that I found that my Bambu printer is just not good and precise enough. I am test fitting and printing everything on my Prusa MK4. So far it works snugly with other lego parts.

Drop me comment and like if you would like me to add a different dimension if that helps you out.

It would really help me out in testing and adding some other shapes by liking so i can order more filament.

Currently included are:

  • 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, 7x7, 8x8, 9x9, 10x10, 25x25
