Description
(if you have printed this earlier, as of 12/27/22 there is an entire new version out!)
There are 2 versions of the “Connector_Bottom” you can print (you only need one!).
_v2 requires the additional “BackPanel_connectors” - which you can print flat with a filament change to make the letters stand out more!
The “Connector_Bottom” (bot versions) will need some support to make sure the long overhang parts dont collapse/sag. All the other pieces are oriented to fit the build plate without supports.
I printed everything in 0.2mm for the extra detail, but you're can change this to print faster (whatever you want, your life your rules!).
The infill I had 40% gyroid, there's some larger flat area's that need to print on the infill, so make sure to have a good supportive base there (I think you might be able to get away with 25/30% - but no guarantees).
Once all the pieces are printed, you can secure everything together using 4x M3*8/10 screws (chamfered, so they sink into the print flush) and 4x M3 (hex) nuts.
“Connector_Top” and “Connector_Trim” need to be glued together (make sure it fits in the groove snug before glueing down! may have to clean/trim to go together - depending on your printer, and how well it's calibrated for tolerances)
Update: If you've opted to print the “Connector_Support_Bracket”, you need slightly longer screws for the bottom, insert the hex nuts into that, and lock the whole thing together with a screw from the Bottom_Support_Stand (no need for an insert in the Connector_Bottom/_v2).
12/27/22: old version was removed, and has been entirely replaced with a way easier to print v2. This also fixes the switch (on the top) for a better version (on the side) - still has flaws, but a million times better!
1/1/23: A new supporting bracket has been added that can optionally be printed to add some support to the connectors when inserting the cables. Huge thanks and credits to “HardAzRockz” for making that!
