Vixen Right Angle Dovetail Bar for Canon RF 600mm or 800mm F11 IS STM Lenses.

This is a standard Vixen-compatible dovetail bar that attaches to the Canon RF 600mm or 600mm F11 IS STM lenses and holds them at a right angle. These lenses don't have a rotatable foot, just a mount built-in to their bodies, so they can't be rotated. This dovetail is useful for Alt-Az mounts such as the Sky-Watcher SolarQuest mount that I plan on using for the solar eclipse. You will need a ¼-20x3/4 socket head cap screw to mount the lens and a M5x16mm socket head cap screw that is used as a alignment pin. Screw the M5x16mm SHCS into the mount first and then insert into the alignment hole before screwing the ¼-20 screw to hold it in place. There are two holes for alignment pin location - you only need one and the mount can be flipped for left or right side use by changing the alignment pin location.  Note: If the dovetail is on the left side of the lens, it partially blocks the switches on the side, especially the Image Stabilization switch, so best to set this switch before attaching the lens, but it is still possible to move the switch with something like a popsicle stick or similar shaped object.
