Prusa Multi Material spool holder

This is a modular spool holder design in wait for the new Prusa i3 MK3 and their multi material upgrade.

Design is modular so you only have to print out as many legs as you actually need. For the Prusa's 4 material upgrade you will need 5 legs. For all intents and purposes this can be scaled to whichever amount of rolls that you need.

You will also need 30mm rod of any kind (wood is just fine). Make sure you cut one to lengh according to how much space you need between the legs for the spools + the width of each leg + 25mm caps at each end.

Caps are designed to fit tightly and print with 1mm gap. Legs print with 2mm gap for the rod, so it's not too tight but also not too loose.

This holder will easily hold 1KG rolls but it is designed for max 2.3 KG rolls of filament.

Print legs standing and caps laying down on their flat part. Supports will be needed for the rod holes only. Rafts/brims depend on you. Set infill to 25%.

Any ideas and suggestions are very welcomed. Note this is still work in progress and I won't be able to actually print it to show off until my MK3 and the multi material upgrade arrives.
