Description
The spacer will be installed on the base unit of the FixDry instead of the cover and remains in place when the cover is removed to allow much easier filament handling. The spacer can hold the cover instead. It has 3 holes on the front and back side to connect PC4-M6 connectors. It should also properly support wide spools through the middle connector.
In order to connect the spacer to the base, optional you can use 4 screws. Just put the spacer on the base unit and use it as jig to drill small holes in each corner . I used a 3 mm drill bit and M4 x 10mm countersink wood screws.
The spacer prints very nice upside-down without any support. I printed it with Prusament PETG Galaxy Black, layer height 0.2 and infill 15%.
