Large Spool Thread Holder for Sewing Machine

Allows you to use large industrial spools of thread on a home/non-industrial sewing machine. 

Usage

• Place the holder on the right side of the sewing machine as shown on the third photo,
• Insert thread from the spool to the hole on the top of the holder,
• Thread sewing machine as you would normally

Details

• Prints in three parts that screw together
• Prints on its flat side without supports
• Solidworks Part file included

Update 1: I've updated the thread of the main rod so that when everything is fully screwed in, the top eyelet becomes perfectly aligned with the small rod that holds the spool. 



Update 2: At the request of a user, I've added a version without a spool holder rod. This version would print faster, but doesn't have the added security of a rod holding the spool of thread in place. This new version is untested. I sewed an entire dress using the original version before uploading it, this new one however, was not tested in similarly rigorous way.
