Greenhouse film/tarp clip retainer for pipe frame

Greenhouse film/tarp clip retainer for 36.8mm diameter pipe.

I made this to put greenhouse film over my “shelterlogic” type portable garage shed.

It works for 36.8mm diameter pipe. If you need one for different diameter, ask me so that I can redesign one for you. 

It may work for retaining tarps too, but I wouldn't recommend using tarp as a roof material. I've done it multiple times with the thickest tarp at Harbor Freight, and it failed in less than a year. Green house film last longer and better.

How I printed

Print with ABS if you live in hot climate area like Texas. I printed with ABS (yellow one in pic), 4walls 15% infill gyroid 0.2/0.4mm

Use the files “RECOMMEND”. It's more tight fit. It may cut or damage the film but film won't move around.

PETG worked good during fall/winter/spring time. But steel pipe becomes really hot during summer.    PLA never work, too rigid.

PETG is NOT good in hot climate. It became soft, bent and fell off the pipe at around 100F, 38C Oklahoma weather. Gray color one is PETG that deformed, yellow one is ABS.

Optional

I also added 1mm depth indentation inside so that I can paste sponge-rubber tape to increase the grip. But its really up to you, this is optional. Sponge part might get damaged and become powder by UV sunlight over time.
