Description
Just a simple reel for storage and deployment of wire, string, cable, or any other long thin and flexible objects. Inspired by a mention of a similar frisbee reel for deploying ground plane wires easily. Capacity will depend on diameter of the string, but i was easily able to get ~30m of 4mm paracord on it with some space to spare.
Print 2x the [MASTER Side.stl] and clip together. No supports required- all chamfers are 45deg to the build plate.
I have printed this successfully at 0.2mm layer height in PETG and it took quite a bit of force to clip together- and some breakage- but it is firmly together.
Updated/Current design has some slight modifications to the tabs/pockets which make it much easier to clip together. This version has been printed successfully, this time in 0.3mm layer height.
