IPSC Target with spring

This IPSC target is a throphy we handed out for an IPSC competition match. I've used a spring from a clothes peg to make the plate springloaded, only the spring is a bit to strong for my liking, so I added holes in the base so you can screw it down to a board.

All plates can be printed with a N0.4 H0.20 with one colour change (except the “zeeuws wapenschild” plate. Here you need to be able to print in 6 colours with a N0.2 H0.10).

In between the Plate and the Plateholder and also between the Base and Textplate are 45 degree protrusions to assist in aligning.

To assemble this plate holder you will need some aditional hardware:

• m4X30 bolt (https://www.amazon.nl/dp/B07VBYGL16?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1)
• clothes peg spring with a >4mm centre hole. (check your drying rack)
• any glue, as long as it contains Cyanoacrylate.

Be gentle when screwing in the bolts, if you screw them in to fast or rough you might crack the plastic, the bolt has to cut his own treads.

You will have to bent the spring open so the angle is greater than 90 degrees and the plate is forced in the up position.
