Description
Alternative, non-mobile, mounting for radios like the RT95 and AT778UV. Handles make for easier handling of non permanently mounted radios and add a measure of front panel protection. They also provide clearance for bottom mounted speakers and promote air flow for more efficient cooling when placed on a flat surface than a bare radio.
There are options for tilting the mounts for better sound and front panel access by using either props or wedges. Handles can be stacked, with or without use of wedges to angle the upper radio. Wedges attach to handles with pins. Props are a simple alternative method for lifting the radio front with a single radio or stack bottom. See pictures for examples.
I printed these in ASA to ensure heat resistance. No supports are needed or desired. Handles attach with a M5x8mm screw on each side.
