Velux Roof window - Sliding seal on sash, circumferential

Alternative to the replacement part for the original seal, which sits between the sash and frame. When the roof window is closed, it ensures airtightness and sound insulation. The seal also reduces the loss of room heat.

This is an alternative to the original Velux seal with the no. 675005S06.

I printed it in TPU, trimmed it to a mitre and joined the corners with a hot air soldering iron. The self-printed seal is now 5 months old and has survived its first winter. It seals just as well as the original.
