Description
Got tired of the different sized containers I received from Amazon when ordering things like motherboard stand-offs, nut and bolt kits, etc so I modded a pre-existing bin from here to be more versatile.
I printed everything in Bambu Lab PLA Sparkle because I wanted to see how it printed since I'd never used it before this. The pictures I uploaded do not have the “knobs” (part titled, “8”) attached to the trays yet…that's because I printed everything out and then realized I wanted knobs to make it easier to remove the trays from the carrier.
All other parts were printed at 50% with NO supports needed.
The handle was printed at 90% infill mainly because I wasn't sure how much weight it would be handling.
The hardware I used for the knobs are:
(4) M3 screws
(4) M3 nuts
(4) M3 washers
and to attach the main handle to the tray carrier I used:
(2) M5 20mm screws
(2) M5 nuts
(2) M5 Washers
Insert the M5 nuts into the recessed carriers. Then the M5 screws go through handle, then affix the washer to the screws and tighten into the recessed nuts. (that just sounds wrong)
