Airbus A320 FCU Korry style Switch

Korry style switch for the Autopilot and Auto Throttle  buttons on A320 FCU panel. 3D printed parts are Button Light Guide and Button Housing. Both printed in Black PLA, 100% infill, 0.15 layer height.  An alternative Housing design in two parts is provided, which eliminates the layer to layer friction of the one piece design, at the cost of needing to print and glue two parts.

Button Top Indicator and Bottom Legend are CNC machined from acrylic. Top from 3mm smoked glued to 3mm clear. Bottom from 3mm opal glued to 3mm clear.  Two halves glued together, with coat of black paint between to eliminate light bleed. Overall then sprayed black and engraved. Smoked Top creates hidden until lit for green indicator. Opal bottom shows text even when backlighting is off.

Design can use the smaller EFIS PCB for LEDs, resistors, switch and header pins. ZIP file is included for ordering this from JLCPCB or PCBWay etc in the EFIS model

Header Pins: Any 0.1"

Assembly:

1. Solder switch to top and header pins and resistors to bottom of PCB
2. Slide LED legs through bottom of light guide and solder to PCB
3. Glue Indicator and Legend to top of light guide
4. Slide housing down over light guide and glue bottom edge to PCB
5. Glue into back of EFIS panel

3D printed solder jig is included to help align LEDs during assembly.
