Description
Better cutting, less noise.
It can use cheaper blades from Husqvarna, Gardena or chinese clones.
Worx Landroid blades have a larger hole diameter but you can still use the Husqvarna screw it the head is large enough or simply use a washer.
Note that the Worx blades are a bit larger (not much).
The blades need to be mounted so that they rotate freely. this protects the blade when you git against rocks or hard objects.
I printed it in PETG altough PLA might work but it not as moisture resistant as PETG.
PETG handles higher temperatures better.
You need 4 brass M4 inserts. I used the ones from CNC Kitchen but chinese clones should be fine too.
It works with both the short or the normal version.
I think the orginal author wanted to push the brass insert from the bottom and that's why he left that collar.
I used a short insert, so I pushed it from the top. I think pushing it from the top has the advantage or protecting the plastic as well from the screw collar,
by having a metalic area there. Don't overtighten the screws.
You can use the original M4 screws for attaching the disc to the motor.
They are a bit short for the plastic disc, because the original disc is very thin, so larger screws can be better. I recommnend tightening these screws better than the ones for the blades
but don't use excessive force. Use a washer to protect the plastic.
As replacement screws I would use stainless steel screws and washers.
