US Weight Umbrella Base Bolt-Holding Pole Shim

The metal parts of these plastic umbrella bases tend to rust-fuse together over time, making adjustment impossible.

The steel set bolt rusts to the bolt plate and can't be turned any more.  It must be destroyed to get apart and replace.  
My remixed shim is designed to hold a captured nut on the inside of the weigh hole, with the bolt inserted from the outside.  I used a ¼-20 nut and bolt.
I strongly recommend using a stainless steel bolt and nut in your replacement.
I was experimenting to find the right spacer thickness for the shim.  
I made spacers of 4mm, 5mm, 6mm and 10mm thickness.  
Adding a bolt head knob to the bolt makes adjusting the bolt tension pain free for your fingers!
I printed the shims with ABS for outdoor durability.  
I oriented them on their sides and used organic supports for the nut hole.
I printed the bolt knob with the nut hole pointing down and organic supports in the hole.
