Single Shot (7 - 9 g) Dosing Funnel and Tamper for 58mm VST and LM Baskets

Description

Single shots are useful if you need to limit your caffeine intake, want coffee more frequently without increasing caffeine intake, or just like the taste of single shots. Whatevery the reason, single shots can be tricky to prep properly. 

These dosing funnels and dampers, designed for use with 58 mm Gaggia portafilters in conjunction with either the 7g VST basket (7-g STD Ridged) or stepped 7g La Marzocco basket (7g, F.3.053), allow pucks to be prepared easily and repeatably. There are two funnel versions for each basket type, one compatible with blind shakers and a wide version that may be easier to directly grind into. Because the sides of the single shot baskets are sloped, there are also two tamper versions with slightly different base diameters: 7+ g (41.0 mm) and 8+ g (41.7 mm).

Note: the La Marzocco basket was cheaper, but I found the VST basket to have superior performance. 

Print Settings

PETG, 0.4 mm nozzle/line width, 0.2 mm layers, 3 wall lines, print per model orientation. Zig-zag supports with 0 horizontal expansion recommended for the ear latches on the dosing funnels. Add a brim if you have bed adhesion issues, but it shouldn't be needed for most people.

Use a smooth bed for the tamper or else sand the bottom smooth.
