Iwata Airbrush holder (HP-CS & HP-BCS)

Most of the airbrush holder on the market can be installed beside you at your desk. This is the case of the Iwata holder and other 3d printable models out there. 

I designed this one to be installable at either the back end of your desk (where it cannot be knocked off the ground - been there) or at the traditionally front end of your desk. The simple solution, the airbrush holders can rotate 360 degrees!

The holder will fit both the Iwata HP-CS Gravity feed and the HP-BCS Bottle feed airbrushes. It might fit other brands.

There are two versions of the clamp, with and without (plain) the Iwata logo.  

Printing

No support is required except for minimal support on the airbrush holder itself.

I printed the desk clamp using Prusament PETG Galaxy black at .20 and 30% infill with a brim.

The airbrush holder itself is printed using Prusament PETG Galaxy black at .20 with 30%  infill and support on the build plate only.

The bolt has no support and you can safely print it at .20 with only 15% infill.

The lettering is printed on PETG at 100% infill (no brim)

Installation

Screw and unscrew the bolt a few times so the channels are properly cleared. It will get very easy to operate after a few passes.

When you installed the airbrush holder, you should hear a small click when it reaches the bottom of the hole. 

 The lettering can be installed without glue by simple pressure. Place a printed letter in front of its target engraving and press it on a flat surface (I used the floor). You should hear it snap in place. 

You can also go with the plain model (no logo) or just the engraved look.
