Description
This is a version of the fortnite flopper optimized for FDM printing.
I have included the raw file, a correctly oriented file, as well as the Bambu Studio files for a multicolor version in two sizes: regular and XL. This was designed for an A1 mini and can be easily adapted for other bambu printers.
If you are going to print using the raw model, i recommend rotating the model as shown in the picture, and adding support blockers as shown. These block supports from potentially generating inside the mouth, and leaves it hollow for a better looking model. There is no need for support in this area and it would be very hard. Rotating the model in such a way hides the effects of supports and leaves the model without any support artifacts. Ideally you want the supports to look like the last picture (model enlarged to help show this). You want to make sure that the side, top, and back fins are supported as such to get as few artifacts as possible, as well as ensure proper buildplate adhesion. I printed 7 at once like this!
More print configurations for bambu printers can be found on my model on maker world.
This model was inspired by Springenfelter on thingiverse and his flopper model. I optimzed the model by thickening the fins and smoothing out the model.
