Description
I couldn't find any examples of these parts to 3d print for replacements.
I modeled these for my early Turbo Hopper that uses 8 AA batteries and the narrow plate where the bumper screws into the vehicle but has the bigger diameter rear wheels.
I've made 4 versions:
Right and left one piece - requires lots of supports but is closest to the original.
Right and left each in two pieces - I split them so that you have a flat surface to put on the bed. There is a spot for a 3mm bolt and nut just inside of where the wheel attaches to hold them together on the car. The inside piece is held together by the vehicle. Other than being split and adding the bolt hole, these are the same as above.
Right and left in two pieces with modifications to use bolts to hold on the wheel component - same as above but I took the bulges off of the wheel end to use a bolt and nut instead of the original pin.
Right and left in two pieces with modifications to use bolts to hold on wheel and shock - same as above but instead of a plastic pin for the shock, there is a hole for a 3mm bolt.
I printed these on a Prusa MK3s using Overland PLA filament at .15 detail settings.
