HSW Screwdriver Rack

I wanted to try my hand at a screwdriver holder for my large honeycomb storage wall, and came up with this stylized hex shape that holds two rows of screwdrivers.

Keep an eye on this model if you want something that can hold more than 6 drivers at a time: I plan to publish additional wider variations as soon as I can come up with something that looks nice.

Instructions:

• Measure the blades and handles of your screwdrivers and download the appropriate size rack to fit what you need.
  • If you need additional sizes, you can use the parametric CAD links below to generate them, or send me a message and I'll be happy to add them here.
  • The 23.2 width won't fit most larger screwdriver handles but does make the racks able to be stacked side by side on your HSW.
• Print the rack and two of the inserts.
  • If you have a multi-material printer, I recommend painting the tops of the hexes a different color, as seen in the photo here. Ironing the top of the print works nicely, too.
• Use CA glue to attach the insert “rings” to the rack.

As with most of my designs, the CAD models are available at Onshape, and include a some parametric options for hex size and hole.
