Description
When installing a second z-axis on your Ender-5, you sacrifice some Y-axis to the new bed rods and screw. The first part to interfere with your hotend is the Z-axis rod mounts installed to the top support beam. This part moves the rod down enough to clear most typical hot-ends. Once you install this, you can resize your bed in your slicer to ensure you're making the most of your Y-axis.
You can reuse the existing screws.
Because you'll be clamping, I recommend printing with at least 5 perimeters. It also helps if they're still warm from the print bed.
