Filament label clip and holder for Prusa XL | Filamentlabel-Clip and Holder für Prusa XL

The labels can be clicked onto various holding plates and used as filament clips. I label the labels in the Prusaslicer with the manufacturer, material, colour, production tolerance, price, date of purchase and use the filament described for the base plate. This gives you a good idea of the appearance of the filaments in the printed parts.

When loading a filament, I remove the label clip from the spool and click it onto the holder above the corresponding Prusa XL toolhead. This makes the filament assignment of the print heads clearly visible. When changing a filament, I remove the corresponding label from the holder and use it again as a filament clip.

The Prusa XL holder is designed as a flat version for 5 labels and can be mounted on sloping walls using a 45° adapter. There are also holders for individual labels in the download area. You can download the single holders and the various labels as 3mf project files and customise them for your purposes using the text modifiers.

Note: Using the labels as filament clips requires some practice at first. I click the labels into a winding on a roll, then push the loose end through the label hooks and pull it tight.

Die Label lassen sich auf verschiedene Halteplatten klicken und als Filamentclips nutzen. Ich beschrifte die Label im Prusaslicer mit Hersteller, Material, Farbe, Fertigungstoleranz, Preis, Kaufddatum und verwende für die Grundplatte das beschriebene Filament. Dadurch hat man eine gute Vorstellung vom Aussehen der Filamente in den Druckteilen.

Bei Nutzung eines Filaments löse ich den Label-Clip von der Rolle und klicke ihn auf den Halter über dem zugehörigen Prusa XL Toolhead. Dadurch ist die Filamentbelegung der Druckköpfe gut sichtbar. Beim Wechsel eines Filaments entferne ich das zugehörige Label aus dem Halter und verwende es wieder als Filament-Clip.

Der Prusa XL Halter ist als flache Variante für 5 Label ausgelegt und kann mit einem 45° Adapter an schräge Wände montiert werden. Außerdem gibt es auch Halter für einzelne Label im Downloadbereich. Die Einzelhalter und verschiedenen Labels könnt ihr als 3mf-Projektdateien herunterladen und mit den Text-Modifikatoren für eure Zwecke anpassen.

Hinweis: Die Nutzung der Label als Filament-Clips erfordert anfangs etwas Übung. Ich klicke die Labels in eine auf Rolle aufliegenden Wicklung, schiebe danach zusätzlich das lose Ende durch die Labelhaken und ziehe es fest.
