Description
Don't you just hate it when the sun comes out and your garden seats are too wet to sit on?
How about when you want to put your car back in the garage but don't want all that rain water creating puddles in your nice dry garage?
After the success of my angled attachment to make the DeWalt leaf blower more effective at blowing leaves, I started wondering what else it could be used for…
After several prototype models, I finally created the perfect add-on to concentrate the airflow and angle it to make it easy to blow water off those things you don't want water on!
It was designed to print with the round end onto the print surface.
The part has been carefully designed to be printable without support.
I would suggest printing in ABS or similar for ruggedness although I'm sure PLA will also be fine for most uses.
Print with a brim if you are worried about bed adhesion - it is a tall print!
From memory, I used 4 outer perimeters and 50% infill for strength.
Installation onto the blower is just a case of removing the original round rubber pipe at the point where the black pipe joins the yellow blower and using the bayonet fitting with a quarter turn to secure the attachment.
Mine has been in use now for about 6 months and is clearly going to stand the test of time. I have since printed more for friends & family and they also love it.
This is my new favourite DeWalt creation as it makes my DeWalt blower even more versatile.
