12 equal temperament fretboard construction from first principles in a Fusion 360 sketch

Austin Shaner has put a lot of work into a Fusion 360 file to generate fretboards.

Out of interest, I wanted to lay the frets out from first principles without pre-calculating locations as Austin did, and so built this Fusion 360 sketch and quickly built and cut an example board in the attached file.

Extrude an octave's worth of fret locations

Copy to the higher octave

Scale down by half

Build the body of the neck

Split the surface with the fret extrusions to mark the locations for the fret wires
