Magnet Multitool Screw-Box

You can print a friendly and small magnet box, to put any type of screws or some metal elements that you need to organize!

I have many screws, washers, nuts and different components mixed together, so although there are many models available on the internet for classification, I thought that I would make my own.

The main idea was to design a small box that could be joined to others in a simple way, to have them placed in a drawer. So I have designed different models of individual boxes that have been quite useful for me to organize my screws. Once the different boxes have been printed, I have joined them with a clip and placed the complete block inside my hardware drawer.

Why not add an extra configuration to the sorting boxes?

-Interior Magnet

I designed the first individual box thinking it was a good idea to have the option to put a magnet on the bottom. This way it attracts the screws and also allows you to place the box on any metal surface so that it does not fall to the ground.

Thanks to the functions of Prusa slicer, we can stop in the middle of printing, place the magnet in the gap and then continue printing

Remember to select in Prusa Slicer the final layer before the hole is closed.

Ruler for measuring screws

There are times when I need to measure the length of a screw and I don't have the caliper near to me, so I placed a small simple ruler to measure the length of the different screws based on the metric.

About printing parameters

*I recommend that If you make the boxes with ruler print with a layer height of 0.15 or 0.10.

Supports are not needed.

*My project is in development, so it will most likely include more different boxes and modifications.
