Xiaomi Yi Action Cam TPU Lenz Cap and Case

The Xiaomi Yi action camera, first of its kind, still holds its ground, although its accessories are becoming hard to find. Its 1080p resolution and optical quality still make it competitive for many applications, and its low cost at the time and even more so second-hand currently, make it a very relevant choice for many applications: action shooting or not, of course, but also as a dashcam, for video surveillance, education, FPV drone, etc.

After searching with little success on Amazon and similar platforms, and then on sharing platforms, for well-designed, simple, effective, and robust accessories that print easily, I was once again forced to design models that met my specifications:

• No errors (lens protection that touches the lens (!) or fits poorly).
• Suitable for printing in TPU for better protection and greater durability.
• Mount in GoPro format for compatibility with a wide range of accessories.
• Free access to buttons.
• Quick insertion.
• Robust and secure attachment.
• Limited amount of filament.
• Easy and fast printing without supports.

Instructions: Print using flexible filament only, ideally TPU with the highest possible hardness. /!\ Other materials may lead to difficult insertion, breakage, or poor attachment.

Disclaimer: Don't judge my photos: I'm using a five-year-old TPU filament that I rarely use. It has never produced beautiful prints due to its inconsistent diameter. Anyway, I have to finish this spool, and the dimensions of the part remain correct, so...
