Fridge display cover

Does your car fridge have an annoying touch panel that gets activated just by brushing over it? Do you accidentally change the temperature settings when looking for something in the car ? If you do then this is the thing for you!

I often accidentally change the temperature settings of the fridge while leaning over it in the car so I decided to do something about it !

I 3D scanned the fridge display with my revopoint Miraco scanner and then modeled a cover that hides the buttons so they'll never accidentally be pressed again.

The fridge I designed this for is the BougeRv 35L car fridge, I suspect it will fit other models that use the same body design as well.

I only ever change the settings of this fridge via bluetooth so the buttons arent needed for me. I did however include a version that has button cutouts, you should be able to fit a small finger in to activate the buttons if needed.

The cover has two sections that are slightly recesed to fit some double sided tape. The recess should just be enough for the tape to still grip while keeping the profile as flat as possible. You may need to adjust this recess depending on the tape you use. I used some gorrilla outdoor tape.
