ClipOn Handle for SL1/S Speed Platform V2

Handling the build platform full of resin can be messy or unsafe if it is dropped - worse if dropped into the tank or the display.

The build platform on Prusa SL1 and SL1S Speed has very little grip space and you are likely to get resin on your gloves or accidentally dropping it.

This is version 2 of my platform ClipOn Handle, making it much easier to clip on and off.

Benefits of the ClipOn Handle design:

• Has a firm grip on the build platform
• No sharp corners or edges
• Easy to to use - no assembly needed as it is in one piece
• Fits inside the printer when the lid is closed
• Can of cause be used together with Prusa SL1/S Speed Platform Drip Adapter
• Prints without support, Elephant-Foot and can be used right away
• Fits on both Prusa SL1 and SL1S Speed

Warning: Remove the handle before operation the printer (print, calibrate, etc) as it will collide with the vat when the platform moves down into the resin tank. If forgotten, there is no damage to the printer as the handle will just “clip off” before anything happens.

The handle is designed to be printed in PETG as it takes advantage of this material springiness and higher temperature resistance.
Other materials may work, but has not been tested - let me know if you have success with PLA, ABS etc…
