Samsung Freestyle Projector Mount with Clip

A wall/ceiling mount for the Samsung Freestyle Gen 2 Projector. I modified 74ck's original design to make it square and added a clip that prevents it from sliding around. I also found that the original design started bending/warping over time because of the weight of the projector, so this is designed to prevent that.

Be sure to orient the bracket so the clip goes on top (see pictures). The clip is friction fit, so you might need to sand the edges of the bracket a little bit if you're having issues. The clip will keep the projector from moving around and fill the gap mentioned here. To remove the projector, simply remove the clip and then slide it out.

I mounted it to my wall using 2 large & 2 medium command strips (see pictures for placement). From my testing, the 2 large strips were enough to hold it to the wall, and I added the 2 medium strips as extra insurance.

Print Settings

• PLA
• 0.2mm
• 6 walls
• 25% infill

Mounting Bracket:

• Lay flat on printing bed (circular cutout facing upwards)
• You will need supports for the section where there's a cut out for the clip

Mounting Clip:

• Orient top surface on the print bed ("sticks" facing upwards) so you won't need supports
• Use a brim if you need it

Important: The print orientation is important because that will ensure you get a strong bracket. Printing in another orientation may cause the clip to come apart.
