VACUUM PORT FOR 8" DISK SANDER

The standard dust collection port on most generic disk sanders is a simple flat plate connected to a small vacuum opening and does not work at all.

This design carries the vacuum connection to the face of the work, and is cut away to allow for tilting the base plate as well as to better collect free dust.

My version is printed in PLA in two pieces with the flange glued with superglue. 

Print settings- .4mm nozzle, PrusaSlicer .2mm QUALITY and 25% infill. worked well with a brim for the taller piece just to be safe.  

The parts will be best printed oriented as shown, and do not require any support.
