Minimal Sun & Earth Orrery

Print Settings:

• Infill: 20%, but support blockers in cura can be used to make the narrow stems the planets sit on stronger.
• Layer height: 0.28mm/0.16mm for the planets
• Support: Planets only
• Print all parts in default orientation for best results

I was looking for a simple yet accurate way to portray the Earth's orbit of the sun, without using any gears, motors or even screws or bearings. I found nothing on Printables or Thingiverse, so took up the task of designing my own orrery. This simple design only requires some blue, orange and grey filament for the sun, earth and base. Another option is to hand paint the planets yourself for more realism.
