Holders for the with * marked tools will follow soon. Just want to print them to be sure they fit the named and linked tools well too.
More holders might be added over time…
Background:
I really like working with GOOD tools and I think if you use scrap tools you can not deliver good results. That's why I use Prusa 3D printers only by the way…
I use the above listed tools really often and they are really good mostly German quality tools which I use for years now.
I kept them in drawers until now, but I did not like the mess that they created all the time and that you often really need to search the just needed tool… So this should come to an end and I wanted to have my own sorting system that some kind is modular and simple to use and create… Gridfinity and such stationary solutions do not work for me because I want to be able to take the tools all at once to another room too.
I wanted to see at a glance if the just needed tool is there and I want to take it out of its desired place all the time without searching.
Create custom holders:
The chances that you might have the same tools might be small, so I want to share with you the basic form and sizes of the holdes, so you can easily create some yourself too.
The most basic CAD file is available in the files as Fusion 360 file too: =)
The main part size of the top is 180x100mm:
The side and height measurements are shown here:
