Simply put this is a mount for the BTT Smart Filament Sensor (SFS) v2.0 to the K1 Max that allows for feeding from the side. I'll update the model as I receive feedback. I haven't tested this on the K1/K1C, but it might fit. I have also made a loop for zip tying your cable out of the way. if you’re using the stock K1 board, just hook up the motion sensing port (green/black) on the SFS to the filament detect port on the main board. If you have a stock K1 max board, you’ll use Black =GND, Red=5V, and Green= motion detect (PC15). It will still detect runout because no motion will detected.

Instructions
- Print this mount
- Unscrew the two corner screws on the back upper right of the K1 Max and set aside.
- Align the mount to the holes for the SFS and install 3 ea M3 x 4 or M3x6 screws.
- Align the mount to the holes for the K1 Max and install the 2 ea. M3 screws that were removed in step 2.
- Connect the SFS with the included cable to the K1 Max. (filament port on main stock board, or endstop connector (MIN) on the BTT Manta series.
- Cut a length of PTFE long enough to reach from the SFS to the toolhead and install.
- Cut a length of PTFE long enough to reach just before your spool, or just a 2-5 cm piece coming out of the end of the SFS.
- Configure klipper printer.cfg using your board’s filament detect port or endstop port.
