GurgleApps Wifi Color Word Clock

Introducing the 3D printable case for our popular WiFi-Controlled Color Word Clock. We're a team of three siblings, still in school. Our Word Clock kit has not only been a labor of love but also a project that has resonated with makers, tech enthusiasts, and DIYers alike.

What We Offer:

• STL Files for DIY Enthusiasts: Whether you've purchased our LED matrix and faceplate package or plan to source the electronics yourself, these STL files provide the flexibility to print your own Word Clock case. We're including a printable version of the faceplate too; it's not as refined as the one we sell, but it's a solid option for a fully DIY approach.

Your Options:

• Full Kit: For those who prefer a ready-to-go option, our complete kit includes everything you need.
• Semi-DIY Kit: Buy the faceplate and LED matrix from us, then print your own case using these files and source the other components independently.
• Fully DIY: Use these STL files to print both the case and faceplate, sourcing the rest of the components independently.

Assembly and Customization:

Note: Version 2: We changed the design in version 2 to support our no solder kit, if you have a V2 faceplate be sure to download the V2 models. The V2 faceplate has 4 holes V1 has 6.

We've designed this project to be accessible, with step-by-step guides and videos that walk you through assembly and customization. Check out our assembly guide  and dive into our YouTube channel for tutorials and insights.

Code:

All the code is open source and available on our Github Repo 

Parts:

We used 4 x 14mm M2 bolts and nuts, there is an option to use 2 more to help line the matrix up with the faceplate.

Printing Advice:

We used black PLA, if you are printing your own faceplate you will want a dark color.
