Adjustable Drip Waterer PET-Bottle

We've all seen the PET-bottle plantwaterer's. However, this one is adjustable for the current needs of the plant instead of just keeping the entire soil wet at all times. With a small threaded knob on the side of the device the amount of water dripping out of the device can be controlled and also aimed directly at the plant so that no water is wasted, hence it will last longer between refills and work even for plants that like dry spoil, like cactuses.

Print settings: 

Material: PETG, ASA, ABS, PP. 

PLA might work but it is harder to get watertight.

Infill: 15%, 3 walls or more. If it leaks, increase the number of walls (perimeters).

Layer height: 0.2mm

Support: All parts are designed to print without support. However, the tap has a draft on it for the seal which makes a bit of it float. Therefore it is necessary to use around 0,1mm in layer height for this part OR supports for the draft.

Check pictures for proper print orientations!

Assembly and usage:

1. Insert the part called tap (small part with 3 connections) into the part called base (large part), this will take some force but is necessary for a tight seal. Look at the pictures if needed.
2. Take the pin (the small pointy thingy) and screw it on the tap.
3. Fill up a water bottle and attach your new print to it.
4. Stick the large pointy thing straight down into the soil and make sure it doesn't fall over by itself. 
5. Turn the small knob until the desired amount of water drips out of the tap.
