Description
I made a clean and simple wall mount for my inexpensive, generic micropipettes.
Works by hanging the micropipettes by the “grip overhang” lip, as the side profiles gently centers the pipette on the holder, keeping it well in place.
- You have to deliberately try to make it slip off the holder.
I designed this with a decently sized central hole for screwing it to a wall, shelf, etc.
The back of the model is also big and flat enough for some double sided tape, which would be more than strong enough to keep it mounted.
I originally intended to make these mountable to a 2020 extrusion, but I scrapped that plan.
- Instead I've designed entirely printable stands. Models on profile, if that tickles your fancy.
After some quick Googling I've found these vendors with identical pipette designs:
- JoanLab
- Vevor
- IntlLab
- Westtune
- OniLab
- Genever
- Ikeme
- JVLab
- LarkSci
- General no-names (from various Chinese websites)
- Probably heaps more, this design seems super generic.
Pictured parts are printed in 3DO PLA Sparkle Antracite (now discontinued, unfortunately).
This is my first design shared online: Criticism is wanted and welcome!
