65mm wheel landing gear for Eclipson PITTS S12

A landing gear for the Eclipson PITTS S12 that will take larger 65mm wheels. Useful for when you need to lands on grass.
 

• You need to mirror all parts in your slicer for the other side!
• Requires a 200mmx3mm rod for strength, just like the original
• The wheel axle requires 2mm rod
• Wheel width is 23mm

• Print the landing struts using eclipson profile C
  • Rotate in your slicer to point the arrow up.
• Print the pants front/rear using eclipson profile A
  • use 2 bottom layers for both front and rear
  • use 5 top layers for the front

This comes in two versions, the standard version has a option to lock the 2mm wheel axle into place. You bend a 1cm section at 90deg. This is held in a groove by the wheel lock on the inside of the landing strut. You will require a M3 square nut, and a M3x8mm machine screw/bolt.

You can also load the f3d file in fusion, go to design > modify > “change parameters” and tweak the design yourself.

The version with “no lock” you will have to figure out how to fixate the wheel axle yourself, use 2.1mm collets or something.
