Lantern Fish (Luma AI Generated)

A model of a lantern fish originally generated by Luma AI and then edited in blender for detail and printability. My goal was to get something that approximated the (Bing Copilot generated) image below

Note: this model is not easy to print and requires supports. That said, I found that even if you loose a few teeth from the model in the process it still looks pretty cool.

Files

• LanternFish.stl - the edited version of the file originally produced by Luma AI.
• LanternFish_scaled.stl - same as above but scaled to the size I printed
• LanternFish_oriented.stl - same as scaled but in the orientation I found easiest to print
• LanternFish.3mf - the project file with my settings I used

Printing

Feel free to experiment with different orientations and supports but I found a position where the fish is on its head and supported by organic supports to be the most printable
